Hello!
I am Nitin, I'm an Assistant Professor, neuroscientist and post-doctoral researcher at the Dixit Lab at the Dr B.R. Ambedkar Center for Biomedical Research, University of Delhi. I am currently investigating role of lipid alterations in pathogenesis of drug-resistant epilepsy progression. I am also working on membrane receptor mediated hyperexcitability in temporal lobe epilepsy using both human samples and rat model.
I have done my PhD in Biomedical Science from 2018-2024 and Masters in Biomedical Science from the same center from 2016-2018 and have worked on the association of miRNA-146a (rs2910164) Single Nucleotide Polymorphism with Coronary Artery Disease.

My passion lies in ensuring that education is accessible to all. With a deep-rooted belief that knowledge should be within reach for everyone, regardless of background or circumstance. Science is always a collaborative effort.
When not in the lab, I enjoy playing badminton, cooking, reading a book, discussions on politics and policies, swimming, cycling and gardening. I can speak English and Hindi but I wish to learn Spanish and a few other languages.
